Mr. V. Kerishanthan, a student from the 34th batch of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, was awarded the prestigious Sri Lanka University Colours by SLUSA on 30th May 2025 for his outstanding performance at the 2024 Inter-University Games. His excellent performance marked a milestone a milestone for the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka as he played a pivotal role in securing the second runner-up position in carrom at the Inter-University Games— the first time the university has ever placed in this sport. He has also been awarded the prestigious University of Jaffna Full-Colours and will be formally recognized at the upcoming Colours Night.
