Hector Kobbekadduwa Agrarian Research and Training Institute (HARTI) in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Agriculture (Northern Province), Extension and Training Centre, Department of Agriculture, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna organized the training program for the extension officers in the Northern Province. The training program was conducted for the extension officers from Jaffna and Kilinochchi districts at the District Agriculture Training Centre (DATC), Thirunelvely, Jaffna on 12th<\/sup> and 13th<\/sup> of January 2023 while the training program for the extension officers from Mullaitivu, Mannar and Vavuniya districts was conducted at the District Agriculture Training Centre (DATC), Vaddakachchci, Kilinochchi on 26th<\/sup> and 27th<\/sup> of January 2023. Around 50-60 extensions officers attended the each training program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following staff members from the Faculty of Agriculture conducted the training sessions at the above program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
