The workshop aimed to enhance the skills of community-based organizations in developing dairy products, viz. Yoghurt and paneer, at the household and small-scale level. Approximately 20 participants from various community-based organizations attended and benefited from the training session. The participants gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in dairy product development techniques such as Yoghurt and Paneer. The training successfully equipped them with the essential skills to process and develop dairy-based products at the household level, thereby contributing to the sustainability of the local dairy industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Date: 02.04.2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Time: 9:00 AM \u2013 3:30 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Venue: Regional Training Center, Ariviyal Nagar, Kilinochchi (Theory Session) &amp; Dairy Processing Unit (JICA), Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture (Practical Session)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Objective<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The primary objective of this workshop was to provide hands-on training in dairy product development, viz. Yoghurt and Paneer, enabling participants to utilize dairy processing techniques effectively to value-add the milk as a result to increase their income generation and uplift living standards within their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resource Persons: Professor (Miss) J.
