Dr. Mrs. S. Terensan Honoured by His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It is with immense pride that we announce a major achievement for our faculty: Dr. Mrs. S. Terensan<\/strong>, an esteemed member of our academic staff, has won the First Place (Non-Plantation Sector)<\/strong> at the National Awards for Excellence in Agricultural Research 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prestigious award was presented by His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka<\/strong> at the official ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This national recognition, conferred by the Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy (SLCARP)<\/strong> under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation, celebrates the excellence and impact of her research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award-winning research is titled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAssessment of Pathogeography and Pathogenicity of the Blast and Brown Spot Diseases in Rice (Oryza sativa L.<\/em>) Using Phenetic, Molecular, and Digital Image Sensing Approaches.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This exceptional work highlights the faculty\u2019s commitment to scientific innovation and its direct contribution to addressing critical challenges in Sri Lankan agriculture.
