Walk-in Interview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walk in interview for the appointments to the following temporary positions will be held on 25th<\/sup> and 26th<\/sup> November 2025 from 09.00 am in the Board Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna Ariviyalnagar, Kili nochchi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Temporary Assistant Lecturer \/ Temporary Demonstrator in Agronomy\/ Animal Science\/Agricultural Biology\/Agricultural Chemistry\/Agricultural Engineering\/ Agricultural Economics.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualification:  <\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. A Degree with Specialization in the relevant subject with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    OR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • A Degree with Specialization in the relevant subject with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      OR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • (a) A Degree with Specialization in the relevant subject without Honours or any other degree with at least Second Class Honours and (b) a recognized postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Note: Candidates who are awaiting the results of the final degree examinations may also apply for the post of Temporary Demonstrator only.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    Post                                         Salary Scale<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Temporary Assistant Lecturer            A fixed monthly salary of Rs. 85,305\/-subject to a deduction of Rs.17,812\/-as an unpaid amount, in accordance with commission Circular No.02\/2025(i) dated 04.04.2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Temporary Demonstrator                   A fixed monthly salary of Rs. 68,145\/-subject to a deduction of Rs.12,058\/-as an unpaid amount, in accordance with commission Circular No.02\/2025(i) dated 04.04.2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        In addition to the above salary, the allowances approved by University Grants Commission will also be paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Interested candidates with the required qualifications should fill the online form<\/a> before 4.00 pm on 21.11.2025<\/strong> and present for the walk-in interview for the above-mentioned posts with educational and any other relevant certificates (originals) along with certified copies, National Identity Card and duly filled application (Application Form)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
