Admission of Public Officers for Degree Programme in B.Sc. Honours in Agriculture (2024\/2025)\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Applications will be entertained by the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Agriculture University of Jaffna for the Admission of Public Officers for Degree Programme to follow B.Sc.Honours in (Agriculture) as internal students for the Academic Year 2024\/2025<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The applicant should have passed the A\/L Examination in Biological Science and qualified to enter the University.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    OR<\/p>\n

    Any other qualification, as may be approved by the Faculty Board and the Senate.<\/p>\n

    AND<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Diploma in Agriculture (Course duration not less than 2 years) obtained from any recognized institution.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. Minimum of 5 years experience in a capacity of not less than middle level Technical Officer Grade in the field of Agriculture after obtaining Diploma Course.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Age:<\/strong> Candidate should be less than 45 years of age at the time of closing date of applications.<\/p>\n

        Application forms and other details will be available in the website: https:\/\/www.jfn.ac.lk\/ and www.agri.jfn.ac.lk.<\/strong> Downloaded application forms should accompany with the paid bank slip for deposit of a sum of Rs 100\/= credited to the Peoples\u2019 Bank Reference No: 7267502501501683<\/strong>\u00a0of Bursar, University of Jaffna. Furthermore, applicants are also required to fill out the Google Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n

        Closing date:\u00a0<\/strong>Applications should reach us\u00a0on or before: 15.06.2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Duly completed application forms along with payment receipt and relevant documents should be sent through the relevant Heads of Department to Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, Ariviyalnagar, Kilinochchi by registered post and indicate \u201cApplication for Admission of Public Officers for Degree programme B.SC Honours in Agriculture \u2013 2024\/2025\u201d <\/strong>at the top left-hand corner of the envelope.<\/p>\n

        Applicants may send an advance copy in the first instance. However, no such applicant will be considered for written test and an oral examination, if the application channeled through the Head of the Department is not received. Illegible and incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date will be rejected without intimation.<\/p>\n

        Eligible candidates will be invited to attend for a Written Test and an Oral Examination.<\/p>\n
