The department of Agricultural Agricultural Biology of the Faculty of Agriculture offers two certificate courses (3 months duration) titled “Mushroom Production & Processing Technology, and Vermi-Technology” . The inauguration ceremony of both certificate courses was held on 27th of May 2022 at the Main Auditorium of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ariviyal Nagar Kilinochchi. The staff members of the Faculty of Agriculture and the sixty enrolled Tamil-speaking participants [especially farmers and entrepreneurs (30 for each course)] from the Mannar, Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu, Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Nuwara Eliya, Jaffna, and Kurunegala districts had participated.
