H.E. MIZUKOSHI Hideaki, Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka and the officials from Embassy of Japan visited Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna at Ariviyal Nagar, Kilinochchi on 11th of August 2023 to oversee JICA’s PRECIDA-UOJ Project. The ambassador and his team were welcomed by the Vice Chancellor Prof. S. Srisatkunarajah, Dean and the academic staff of the Faculty of Agriculture. Then H.E. the ambassador was briefed about the project activities by Prof. S. Vasantharuba, Dean/Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Kazuo OGATA, CA/PRECIDA-UOJ, Dr. R. Eeswaran, Coordinator/IQAC and Dr. S.J. Arasakesary at the Faculty Board Room. Thereafter, H.E. MIZUKOSHI Hideaki visited JICA Research and Training Complex, Laboratories and PRECIDA-UOJ Project office, and joined for a reception lunch with the Vice Chancellor, Dean and the academics at the University Guest House. The Vice Chancellor, Dean and the faculty academics expressed their sincere gratitude for JICA and the People of Japan for supporting the faculty development through various projects from the beginning of its relocation to Kilinochchi
