Ms. K. Kasthuri, Lecturer (Prob. ), Department of Agricultural Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, participated in a two-week international training program in Hyderabad, India, organized by the world-renowned International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme, funded by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
The program, held from 9–20 March 2026, brought together 35 participants from 18 countries and focused on digital and geospatial technologies for agricultural monitoring and decision support.
